LCMS Bobcat Parents and Families,

There will be no school on Monday, September 1st for the Labor Day holiday. I hope all of our Bobcats enjoy the day off! Tuesday, September 2nd will be an A Day.

Wear Green and Gold on Friday, September 5th
Friday, September 5th is a TeamLCPS Green and Gold Day, so we are excited to show our school spirit by wearing green and gold!

After School Dance on Friday, September 5th!
We will have our first after school dance of the school year this Friday, September 5th until 5:30. Permission forms must be turned in by Thursday, September 4th at 1:20. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the dance. The $10 fee will include admission to the dance and one student admission to the LCHS Varsity home football game in the Jungle!

Parents/guardians will pick up students from the dance *beginning* at 5:30. (Early pickups are difficult because students are still dancing!) Enter the campus using the Bus Garage Road entrance and proceed to door #2 (the 7th grade entrance) to pick up your child.

We are excited to have some social time with our Bobcats, followed by cheering on our Lions in the Jungle!

From the LCMS PTA:
The LCMS PTA will have a membership table in front of LCMS after the dance on Friday, and they will also have a table at the football game later in the evening! If you have not already joined the LCMS PTA, Friday will be a great opportunity to do so!

The LCMS PTA is hosting the first general PTA meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 10th at 6:30 IN PERSON at the Middle School and with a virtual option too! This is your chance to meet the Board Members, learn about upcoming events, and find out how YOU can get involved in your favorite middle school! Be sure to mark this on your calendar!

Stay updated on this exciting opportunity and be sure to follow the Louisa County Middle School PTA on Facebook.

Attendance Matters: Every Day Counts!
Consistent attendance is vital for your child's academic success. Every day at school offers valuable learning opportunities that build upon each other, ensuring a strong educational foundation. Please ensure your child attends school regularly and on time.
