LCMS Bobcat Parents and Families,

LCPS Kindness Month Kicks Off on Wednesday, October 1st
As you may know, each October, we celebrate #Kindness Month here at Louisa County Public Schools. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of our Kindness movement, we are launching a new initiative called #Kindness: A Decade of Difference.
Students will receive a new LCPS Kindness shirt to wear on Wednesday, October 1st!
Throughout the month of October, our school and entire division will be participating in various acts of kindness together, such as creating thank you cards for veterans, raising money for local non-profits, showing our appreciation to first responders, and so much more. Each week will feature new and exciting efforts, which we will share with you as we go throughout the month of October.
So, be sure to keep up with our weekly all-calls and emails to stay up-to-date. Once again, let’s come together to spread Kindness far and wide throughout the month of October as we celebrate Kindness here at Louisa County Public Schools.
Reminders of Morning and Afternoon Procedures
Morning Arrival
Upon arrival at school, all car riders should be dropped off in the inner circle at the front of LCMS. It is important that parents/guardians pull all the way forward in the inner circle and drop off their children in a timely manner to prevent any traffic congestion in the mornings.
Afternoon Pickup
Between the hours of 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm, no vehicles are permitted to park or stop for loading in the main entrance loop. All parents/guardians picking up their children at LCMS during this time period should use the parking spaces in the parking lot adjacent to the bus lot. There are ample parking spaces available in the afternoons toward the bottom of the parking lot. Those picking up should meet students at the top of the parking lot near the sidewalk area. Students should not walk in the parking lot without being accompanied by an adult.
*Please ensure that you park in a parking spot; do not double park behind another vehicle. Also, do not stop in the main entrance loop; doing so can back up traffic on the road. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and safe parking experience for everyone.

Vaping Education Assemblies This Week

The presentations will focus on the serious dangers of vaping. Students will receive vital, educational, and inspirational messages about making positive decisions for their health. We encourage you to talk with your student about the presentation this week. Learning about the risks of vaping is a critical step in supporting your student's well-being.
