Good Sunday evening Bobcat Nation.  This is your principal, Shaun Woody. I hope everyone has had an enjoyable weekend with family.  I am calling tonight with a preview for the week of September 20th.

First, I want to say thank you to our students who participated in the community service projects this past Wednesday.  Our students had the opportunity to hang birdhouses at three locations within the community, while another group of students participated in a campus beautification here at LCMS.  What a great act of kindness in giving back to our supportive community.

On September 23rd, our sixth-grade students will change to their second rotation within the Exploratory Wheel.  Students will be given updated class schedules during fourth period on September 23rd to prepare for the change in their fifth-period class.  In addition, faculty/staff will ensure that students know the location of their new fifth-period class and assist in the hallways during the class change.

Also, on September 23rd, our face-to-face students will be taking school pictures.  Students received picture order forms this past week and forms should be returned with picture payment on Thursday if you would like to purchase pictures.  For our Virtual Academy students, picture day will be October 21st.  More information to come in relation to Virtual Academy school pictures, including times, and the sign-up process.

Finally tonight, we look forward to seeing everyone at the Hometown Homecoming Parade on September 23rd at 6:30pm in Mineral!

Excelling together, we are Bobcat Nation!  I thank you for your support and cooperation. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457.  Have a great night!
