LCMS Bobcat Parents and Families,

We are looking forward to seeing our Bobcats back at school tomorrow! Lunch shift times will be slightly impacted by the two-hour delay schedule.

Friday, February 14th will be an A Day.
This is a change from what was originally on the calendar; however, since Monday, February 10th was a B Day, and Monday, February 17th is a now a regular school day, this will keep us on track with our regular A Day/B Day Pattern. Monday, February 17th will be a B Day.

Our LCMS Spreading Kindness Event that was previously scheduled is postponed at this time.

Pal Pops will now be delivered to 4th period classrooms by our LCMS PTA on Monday, February 17th.

Updated Testing Dates
Eighth grade students will now take the school-based simulated version of the Standards of Learning (SOL) Integrated Reading Writing test item on Tuesday, February 18th. They will read a nonfiction passage online that may be about a history or science topic and then answer four to six questions about what they have read. One question is a writing prompt, or a question that asks students to write about what they have read. Students will complete this online in one session.

Bobcats in grades 6, 7, and 8 will now take the English benchmark test on Tuesday, February 25th .

We will have alternate bell schedules on Tuesday, February 18th and Tuesday, February 25th, which will slightly impact lunch shift times.

Please look for the regular LCMS Bobcat Weekly Update email on Sunday with further information about all of the exciting things happening at LCMS. Meanwhile, we are excited to see our Bobcats back at school tomorrow!
