Principal Update graphicWorld Kindness Day and Bobcat Pride Time Tomorrow, Thursday, November 13th
Tomorrow, Thursday, November 13th is recognized as World Kindness Day, which is a global observance dedicated to promoting and celebrating acts of kindness. This day serves as a reminder of the positive impact that kindness can have on individuals, communities, and the world at large. It highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world.

At LCMS, we will wear our Kindness shirts tomorrow, Thursday, November 13th, and we will have Bobcat Pride time with an Olweus lesson during WIN Block!

The Bobcats Spreading Kindness Club will be selling kindness bracelets for $1 and $2 each in the forum during morning arrival! Kindness Cart prizes will be given out to random winners who are wearing their Kindness shirts on Thursday. The Bobcat Pride Spirit Banners will be up for grabs based on which grade level hallways (even vs. odd) have the most students wearing their Kindness shirts!

TeamLCPS Green and Gold Day: Friday, November 14th
Our LCHS Varsity Lions will host the first playoff game in The Jungle this Friday night as they take on Caroline. As we prepare for Friday’s big game and rally behind our Lions, Friday, November 14th will be a division-wide Green and Gold Spirit Day at LCPS! Let’s show that there is no school division out there with more enthusiasm or pride than LCPS! Be sure to cheer on our Lions on Friday night as they kick off the playoffs in the Jungle!

Bonus After School Dance: Friday, November 14th
We are looking forward to our bonus after school dance on Friday, November 14th! Our dances have been such positive experiences for our Bobcats so far this year, and it is wonderful to have the opportunity to have another great social experience this semester.

Permission forms must be turned in by tomorrow, Thursday, November 13th at 1:20. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the dance. The $10 fee will include admission to the dance and one student admission to the LCHS Varsity playoff football game in the Jungle!

Pizza, soda, water, chips, and candy will be available for purchase during the dance!

Parents/guardians will pick up students from the dance *beginning* at 5:30. (Early pickups are difficult because students are still dancing!)

Enter the campus using the main middle school entrance if you are staying for the football game. Enter the campus using the Bus Garage Road entrance if you plan to leave campus after picking up your child.

Proceed to door #2 (the 7th grade entrance) to pick up your child.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to make #MiddleSchoolMemories—dances are always a highlight, and we are happy to give them a bonus experience!

Another great week is in motion at LCMS! Thank you for all of your support, and if you have any questions, or if we can help in any way, please call our office at (540) 894-5457.
