LCMS Bobcat Parents and Families,

There will be no school for students on Monday, November 3rd or Tuesday, November 4th. We hope our students take this extra time to relax, recharge, and make special memories with family! Wednesday, November 5th will be an A Day.

Kindness Month Update
Thank you so much for your amazing support during Kindness Month! Your donations for the Trunk or Treat candy drive, Socktober, and the Louisa Animal Shelter truly made a difference.

With your help, LCMS students and staff collected food, blankets, and towels for the Louisa Animal Shelter as part of our Kindness for a Cause initiative. Our Yearbook Staff even handmade and sold green and gold bracelets. Collectively, we raised $705 for the shelter! Last week, we delivered the donations, and the shelter staff were so grateful.

We’re proud to be part of such a caring and generous community. Thank you for spreading kindness with us!

As Kindness Month comes to a close, we hope our Bobcats will carry the spirit of kindness in their hearts all year long. Kindness truly is the foundation of all we do here at LCMS—it shapes how we treat one another and helps create a safe and positive school experience for everyone.

On Wednesday, each student will receive a special bracelet to serve as a daily reminder of the importance of kindness, both big and small. We encourage families to talk together about the acts of kindness they’ve seen or shared this month and to keep that spirit alive at home and in our community. Together, we can make every day a little brighter for those around us.

Clubs on Wednesday, November 5th
We will have our first day of clubs for the school year at the end of the day on Wednesday, November 5th! This is such an exciting time for our Bobcats where each student is involved in their unique activity, so we ask that parents and families avoid picking up students for an early dismissal after 2:15 if possible, since students will be in clubs.

Veterans Day Chorus Performance on Thursday, November 6th
We are excited to invite you to a special Veterans Day chorus performance featuring our talented middle school students on Thursday, November 6th, at 6:30 p.m. in the LCMS Forum. Our chorus has been working hard to prepare a memorable evening of patriotic songs honoring those who have served our country. We encourage you to bring a veteran to share in this heartfelt tribute. Your presence and support mean the world to our students and will make the event even more special.

Dental Clinic at LCMS on Thursday, November 6th
Through a partnership with Care Stream, Louisa County Public Schools will be hosting Mobile Dental Clinics during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. A clinic will be offered at LCMS on Thursday, November 6th.
