The "Socktober" Drive

This year LCMS will be participating in the "Socktober" drive with Louisa County High School. Socktober is a small way we can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. We are collecting new socks for the month of October to help the cause. Please join us and send in those socks!

"Every night in the United States an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, SoulPancake and Kid President want 2 million people to prove that even the smallest acts of love, like donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless."

The “Socktober” drive is being sponsored by HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) at LCHS.  Over 1800 pairs of socks were donated to the Louisa Resource Council last year. The goal for this year’s drive is over 2000!
