Good afternoon LCMS Families,

I am reaching out with two reminders from the LCMS School Nurse:

For all middle school students:

All over-the-counter and prescription medications must be picked up from the nurse’s office by the last day of school, May 24th, by 3pm. According to LCPS policy, medication cannot be transported on the bus. Medications that are not picked up by an adult will be discarded. NO medication can be carried over from one year to the next. Please contact Nurse Smith with any questions.

For families of current sixth grade/rising seventh grade Bobcats:

Please review the letter below regarding the immunization requirements for rising seventh grade students. Please note that your child will not be able to come to school in August until the immunization documentation is on file at LCMS, so please do not delay. Please plan ahead and provide the documentation as soon as possible to ensure a seamless transition to seventh grade next year. If you already have the immunization documentation, you can submit it now! Please contact Nurse Joy Smith at (540)894-5457, extension 2040, with any questions.

Thank you for your attention to these items, and please do not hesitate to call us with questions at (540)894-5457.
