LCMS Principal Weekly Update

Good Sunday evening Bobcat Nation.  This is your proud principal, Shaun Woody.  I hope that everyone has enjoyed a great weekend with family.  I am calling tonight with a preview for the week of March 7th.

As a reminder, Wednesday, March 9th, will serve as an Asynchronous Learning Day and students do not report to school.  The day is to serve as an opportunity for students to complete any assignments that are incomplete.  In addition, teachers may provide students with optional enrichment and 5Cs (Communication, Citizenship, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration) activities on this day.  Please note that the end of the third nine-week marking period is this Friday (11th).

It is time for our spring school pictures!  Picture day will be held on March 10th for all students, including our Virtual Academy students.  Parents/Guardians of Virtual Academy students may call the main office to schedule an appointment slot.  Be on the lookout for picture order forms, as these will be going home with students on Monday.

Also this week, we celebrate National School Breakfast Week.  This year’s theme is “Take Off with School Breakfast”.  Please note that school breakfast (and lunch) is free for all students each and every day.  We say thank you to the LCMS Nutrition Team for the amazing job that they do.

Excelling together, we are Bobcat Nation!  I thank you for your continued support and cooperation. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457.  Have a great night!
