Good Thursday evening to LCMS Virtual Academy families of Bobcat Nation.  This is your principal, Shaun Woody.  I hope everyone has had a great day today.  I am calling tonight with information in regards to the math end-of-year assessment (SOL).

As you are aware, school was canceled on May 5th due to thousands of homes throughout Louisa County being without power.  Because of the cancellation of school, we have rescheduled our end-of-year assessment (SOL) in math for all grade levels to Wednesday, May 12th for LCMS Virtual Academy students.

If your transportation needs have changed due to rescheduling, please contact us as soon as possible.  Otherwise, for those students who have requested bus transportation, pickup times will remain the same as were scheduled on May 5th.

Students who did not request LCPS transportation should arrive between 8:00am and 8:45am, as parents should utilize the loop of the bus lot (stadium parking lot) for student drop off.

We thank you for your understanding in the matter and we look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday.  Best of luck to our students on the test and we hope you all have a great night.

What to bring:

- Face mask

- Fully-charged LCPS-issued Chromebook (and bring your charger just in case the battery runs out)

- A book to read when finished testing

- Other materials will be provided (a new pencil for you to keep and paper).

*Students may not have access to electronic devices, including, but not limited to, cell phones, e-books, tablets, games, and Smart Watches during SOL testing. Such devices must be turned off during testing.
