LCMS Principal Weekly Update for Nov. 27, 2022
Good evening, LCMS Bobcat Parents and Families,
I hope everyone has enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating fall break with family!
Monday, November 28th will be an A day.
Our Bobcats will take the Reading SOL Growth Assessment on Tuesday, November 29th, and they will take the Math SOL Growth Assessment on Tuesday, December 6th. We will have an alternate bell schedule on those days for testing.
Thanks to your generous support, LCMS staff delivered 242 pounds of food items from our Stuff the Turkey Drive to the Louisa Resource Council!
We send a tremendous thank you also to Lowe’s at Zion Crossroads, who provided time and resources to beautify our outdoor learning space!
Applications for Blue Ridge Virtual Governor's School are available for 8th grade students. Applications can be completed online or on paper. Please reach out to Mrs. Floyd at LCMS or Mr. Ryan at LCHS for more information.
Looking ahead, outdoor track conditioning will begin on January 10th and continue every Tuesday and Thursday. Tryouts for outdoor track will take place February 20th - 22nd. Letters will go home on February 24th. A current VHSL physical dated after May 1, 2022, is required for all tryout events. Please see our LCMS athletics website for more information.
