Good evening Bobcat Nation and Happy 4th. This is your principal, Shaun Woody. I hope you all have had a great weekend with family.
On July 17th, in partnership with the Thomas Jefferson Health District, Louisa County Middle School will be offering a drive-thru vaccine clinic for rising 7th graders in Louisa County. TDap vaccines are required by the state for all students entering the 7th grade. Without documentation, your child will not be allowed back to school. Also, HPV vaccines are highly recommended and will also be offered at the clinic. Vaccines are safe, effective, and prevent the spread of disease among your children and their friends, family, and community.
From 8:30am - 9:30am, students with last names beginning with letters A-M will be able to obtain vaccinations. Also, from 9:30am - 10:30am, students with last names beginning with letters N-Z will be able to obtain vaccinations. No appointment is needed and the event will be held in the back of Louisa County Middle School within the faculty/staff parking lot, rain or shine. COVID-19 precautions will be in place, so remember to wear your face mask. Also, all visitors in the car will receive a COVID-19 screening (not a test). If anyone is sick or has a fever, the vaccine will not be able to be given that day. Parents/Guardians must be present for a student to get vaccinated and a copy of your child’s insurance card must be presented.

Also, we ask that you continue to return all school library books to a bin that is located outside of the main entrance to LCMS. In addition, this is a final call for locker items that were left from the previous school year.
As always, I thank you for your continued support and cooperation during this time. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457.
