LCMS Principal Update for Jan. 17, 2021
Good evening Bobcat Nation. This is your principal, Shaun Woody. I hope you all have enjoyed a relaxing Sunday with playoff football. I am calling tonight with a preview for the week of January 18th.
As a reminder, tomorrow is a division holiday for TeamLCPS, as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
This week, our blended model students enter their first full week of the temporary transition period to fully remote learning. Please know that the faculty and staff of LCMS are here to support our blended model students and parents with the successful completion of their “Student Learning Resources”. In addition, I encourage all students (Virtual Academy/Blended) and parents to continue to be in contact with teachers concerning academic progress throughout the second semester grading period.
Please note that our LCPS Technology Help Desk is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 7:30pm. If support is needed with technology, call (540)894-4373 and select option #4.
Finally, thanks to the continued efforts of our TeamLCPS Nutrition Department, meals will be provided for all children 2 -18 years of age on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am-11:00am. Meals will be available at all six schools using the drive-thru model. Four days worth of meals will be provided on Wednesdays and three days worth of meals will be provided on Fridays.
During this temporary period of transition, I encourage all members of TeamLCPS to make smart and safe choices. Working together, “We Will”. I thank you for your continued support and cooperation. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457. Have a great night!
