Good Sunday evening Bobcat Nation. This is your proud principal, Shaun Woody. I hope that everyone has enjoyed a great weekend with family. I am calling tonight with a preview for the week of May 2nd.
First, what a week it was for our middle school athletics program. We say congratulations to our middle school softball and middle school baseball teams for winning their conference championships this past Friday. In addition, we also say congratulations to our boys and girls track teams for winning their conference championships this past Saturday. Great job to our student-athletes and coaches!
Standards of Learning (SOL) testing continues this coming week. Please see the emailed details for the testing dates and also what grade levels will be testing. In addition, please ensure that students bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day.
For our eighth-grade parents/guardians, and as a reminder, our Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for May 26th at 8:30am. Rehearsal will take place on May 25th, as all students will need to be at school by 7:55am to participate. On the date of rehearsal, Virtual Academy students will report to the main office.
