Good Sunday evening Bobcat Nation. This is your principal, Shaun Woody. I hope you all have enjoyed the beautiful weather today. I am calling tonight with a preview for the week of December 14th.
With this coming week being the end of the first semester grading period, I ask that students continue to perform self-screenings each morning before coming to school. In addition, if your child is sick, feeling sick, or has been around someone who has been sick, it is best for them to stay at home.
I also encourage parents and students to be in constant communication with teachers on what is needed to successfully complete the first semester grading period. Also, please continue to check in with your child’s teacher to make sure all assignments are completed.
Bobcat Nation, get ready for Spirit Week coming this week. Spirit days will include Polar Express Day (14th), Winter Character Day (15th), Camo Day (16th), Winter Sports Day (17th), and Tacky Spirt Day (17th). Photos can be shared on Instagram using the hashtags #bobcatspirit and #lcmswinterspiritweek.
#TeamLCPS, as we draw closer to the Winter Break, we want you to know our amazing School Nutrition team is committed to providing your family with healthy and nutritious meals! We have posted details on our school website that outlines our revised meal schedule for the next couple of weeks, which will provide students with access to additional meals throughout the Holidays. Please take a moment to visit our website and check it out, and if you have any questions, please send an email to our Director of School Nutrition, Randy Herman, at the email address [email protected]. That’s [email protected].
With the holidays right around the corner, the LCMS School Store has some great gift ideas. Please check out our school store from the LCMS homepage, as new items have been added.
Bobcat Nation, I thank you for all of your support throughout the first semester grading period. I hope you all have a safe Holiday season with family. As a reminder, school reopens on January 6th for second semester. Have a great night!
