Community Service Opportunity for Students
Posted on 11/10/2021
Dear LCMS Families and Bobcat Nation,
Good Wednesday evening. I hope that everyone has enjoyed a great day today. Next Wednesday (17th) is an Asynchronous Learning Day and students do not report to school. However, Bobcat Nation students and staff will be participating in a community service activity as a way to give back to our amazing and supportive community. For this community service project, we will be volunteering at the Louisa County Resource Council. This is an excellent opportunity for students to be involved in a service project that benefits our community.
Students who are participating in this activity will meet at the stadium lot at 8:30 a.m. and will ride a school bus to the LC Resource Council. All students who participate in the activity must ride the school bus. We will return to the stadium lot at noon. Also, we will be providing students with lunch upon their return to the stadium, as students will need a ride home at noon as well.
If interested, please complete, sign, and return the THIS PERMISSION SLIP to the LCMS main office no later than Tuesday, November 16th. Permission slips are also available in the LCMS main office for students to pick up.
Excelling together, we are Bobcat Nation! I thank you for your support and cooperation. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457. Have a great night!
