Monday, December 4th will be an A Day.

SOL Growth Assessment Wednesday, December 6th
Our Bobcats will take the Math SOL Growth Assessment on Wednesday, December 6th. We will have an alternate bell schedule on Wednesday for testing. It is always important for students to bring their fully charged Chromebook to school each day, and it is especially important on SOL testing days. Please support your child in having a daily routine of charging their Chromebook each night and putting it in their backpack to bring to school each morning.

The program utilizes interactive video technology, field trips, and team coaching to create a regional community of learners from the counties of Fluvanna, Goochland, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, Madison, and Orange. Methods of instruction and learning aided by technology will aim to put the student in control of his or her learning and education. LCPS Holiday Spirit Week December 11th through 15th
Looking ahead, we will have an LCPS Holiday Spirit Week December 11th-15th! On Monday, wear your favorite holiday shirt or dress like a holiday character. On Tuesday, wear your favorite holiday accessories. On Wednesday, wear your favorite holiday sweater. On Thursday, wear flannel or pajamas. On Friday, wear fun and festive holiday wear. Email your name, school, and festive photo to [email protected] each day for the chance to win a secret prize!

Attending After School Athletic Events
The winter sports season is underway, including wrestling and boys basketball. Both teams are off to a great start to the season! Be reminded that on days when we have home athletics events, students need to leave school as usual and return to school with an adult to attend the event. Students are not able to stay on the school campus without prearranged staff supervision. Also, students may not go to the Louisa County library and then return for an event; the library does not have structures in place to supervise our young Bobcat spectators. We look forward to cheering on our athletes for the rest of the season!

LCMS Little Library
Did you know that LCMS has a Little Library in front of the school? The Little Library is a free book exchange. If you see something you would like to read, take it! When you’re finished, share it with a friend, bring it back here, or leave it in another Little Library. You may also donate books to our Little Library! Happy reading, Bobcat community!

If you have any questions, or if we can help in any way, please call our office at (540) 894-5457.
