Update for Virtual Academy Parents/Guardians

Update for Virtual Academy Parents/Guardians
Posted on 11/19/2020
Parent UpdateGood evening LCMS Virtual Academy Bobcat families.  This is your principal, Shaun Woody.  I hope you all had a great today.  I am calling tonight in reference to a letter that came home with 2nd nine weeks interims related to hearing, vision, fine and gross motor, and speech screenings.

Louisa County Public Schools is required to conduct hearing, vision, fine and gross motor, and speech screenings for students according to the Code of Virginia Regulations.  As a Virtual Academy student/parent, you may schedule these screenings as applicable through this link or by calling your child’s school. If you decline participation in screenings, you can indicate that decision on the form included with this letter and return it by November 24, 2020. If your child is in grade K, 3, 7, or 10, you MUST either schedule a screening date OR decline the screenings.  Again, if you decline participation in the screenings, the form must be returned by November 24th.

As always, I thank you for your continued support and cooperation. If we can assist in any way, please contact us at (540) 894-5457.  Have a great night!
